Into Argentina

The first time I had the privilege of meeting Mel Hoelzle back in 1995, he spoke into my life about how I was unaware of what God had in store for me. What Mel shared with me that day stayed with me, until 5 years later, when the Lord showed Mel that He was preparing to take His people out of Argentina and bring them back to the land that He had promised them. We immediately flew to Argentina and got involved with the local Jewish agency in Buenos Aires and began helping many Jewish people to make their return (aliyah) to Israel.
We have since begun to work with the local churches in Argentina, by sharing the message of what the Lord is doing in these last days with His chosen people. We are sensing a stirring of excitement amongst the pastors and their congregations and they are anxious and willing to get involved in becoming part of this last day move. We know that this is a move of God and that He is preparing those individuals who will have a hands-on part in this work.
We are beginning to organize the local churches to take on the task of searching for and locating Jewish communities and neighborhoods and to share with them the possibility of returning to Israel, if they so desire. Teams will also provide transportation and an escort to the airport on the day of their travel. Over the years, my wife Ellen and I have traveled to Argentina in order to personally assist and establish relationships with these dear people before they make their final trip. We also have had the privilege to then travel to Israel to visit those same families, and listen as they enthusiastically express how happy and fortunate they feel to finally be in their new homeland and to live a life of dignity.
There are so many Jewish people in Latin America that are living in survival mode or in utter poverty and the only way for them to make this exodus is through the support of our partners. It’s because of the generosity of our Ezra partners that so many families have already been impacted and have found a renewed hope for their future and for their children. We are filled with anticipation, as we venture out into the far reaches of all the Latin American countries.
My wife and I are currently in the process of preparing to move to Buenos Aires, Argentina and we’re looking forward to working closer with the Jewish agency to facilitate the preparations so that more families can realize their dream of returning to Israel. We will be focusing on all the Latin American countries and will strive to accommodate as many Jewish people as we can.
We count it as a great honor and privilege to be doing this work together with so many other wonderful people that love God’s children and want to see them realize their God given dream of returning to Israel.
