Letters of Encouragement and Thanks from Ezra's Mailbag

It is always a special joy to receive letter of encouragement from our faithful supporters and from the many Jewish people Ezra has assisted in their return to Israel. Here are a few letters we would like to share with you.

It is only through your continuing financial gifts that makes their new lives possible.

Dear Barry:

I heard your message last night on our Channel 17 out of Snyder, Texas. I was so blessed. I want to send you this check to help as many as I can to return to Israel, their home.

I appreciate AI & Tommie Cooper and all their good work at God's Learning Channel. I don't know where they find so many people that tell us the truth. It helps us to grow in the Lord more each day.

Much love to each of you. I am 90 years old and a widow. I live out of Sweetwater, Texas.

Mrs. W.C. Payne Sweetwater, Texas

Dear Linda and Barry,

We know now, without a doubt, that prayer gets answered quickly when you help God's chosen people.

The first prayer was answered when Don and I decided on a Saturday night, December 2006 that we would love to begin helping the Jews get home as soon as the church was paid for. The next day, Sunday morning, enough money came in to payoff the note on the church.

On Tuesday we paid the church off and contacted AI & Tommie Cooper of God's Learning Channel as to how we could get started on what we had promised the Lord. They told us about you. We called Ezra and you came to Abilene Bible Chapel last March.

We are thrilled that the enclosed checks total $1,400.00. Four more Jewish people are going home. Praise the Lord!

My name is Sofiya Zaborova. I would like to express my gratitude to your organization for your support that you have given to us during these past
two difficult years.

My granddaughter, Dariya Mitskevich, lost her parents at a very early age. The collection of travel documents for Dariya's studies in Israel was very difficult and expensive for us. We had no possiblity of being able to pay for them. Only because of the aid given to us by Ezra International was it possible for the dreams of this grandmother and the dreams of my granddaughter Dariya to become true. She is now going to Israel to study!!! May her life in Israel be richly blessed.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making her dream become reality.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Wagner, (Ezra)

I wanted to take the time personally thank you for your return letter to me, concerning my custody case and my on-going court battle. (For 4 1/2 years now!)

Throughout my entire adult life, most of the time, you feel like nobody is on your side and worse than that, you feel like nobody even cares out there! So I felt truly blessed that “Ezra International” took the time to acknowledge my personal problems in Texas, while your entire organization is also reaching out to Jewish-aid, and all of Israel, at this most crucial time.

Ever since I decided to partner with “Ezra International,” not only have I received so many of God’s promises in my life, but most of all, God has lifted up all of the burden of worry, fear and strife in my life, because I have remained obedient to His word, especially in the aid for Israel.

Thank all of you at “Ezra” for your prayers!
Sincerely,
Sonja from Alvin, Texas

Dear Friends,

While sitting down to my daily devotional and while eating a late lunch, I knocked the kitchen TV remote off onto the floor. As I picked it up I felt led to turn on the TV and see what was on God’s Learning Channel instead of opening my devotional book. There was Barry Wagner on the “Light of the Southwest Program.” There was a video clip shown with the song “And Still They Come” playing as background music. I knew I had heard the song before and for some reason it had touched me. After I watched the remainder of the program I felt in my heart that the Holy Spirit was moving me to give to your organization. That song and the plight of God’s Chosen people still trapped in Russia really stirred my heart. Then when Barry read Jeremiah 16:15 and then went on to mention Genesis 12:3 and Luke 6:38 I knew I had to act.

I am giving this gift sacrificially from my personal savings. How awesome it is to be able to help fulfill End Time Prophecy! I also know that I too will be blessed for supporting Israel.

Yours in Christ,
Linda from Lubbock, Texas

My name is Elena Isajina, I am living in Simferopol, Ukraine. I would like to express my appreciation to Ezra International for the financial assistance you have given to our family. We will soon be leaving for Israel. I have not been able to work since July 2007 so my granddaughter and I are living on my monthly pension of $57.00.
Your financial help to us is very considerable to our small family budget, and this will help us to live until our departure for Israel.
Your help made it possible for me to pay the costs of our passport, our visas and to cover all of the expenses to travel to the Israeli consul in Odessa for our required consultation.
Thank you so much, and a personal thanks to Victor Mykhailov and your representative in Simferopol-Avramenko, Tatiana. You are doing a very noble work!

I am Yelana Leonidovna Statovskaya. My children, Anastasiya and Platon, and I would love express our great gratitude to Ezra International for your help which is making it possible for us to move permanently to Israel.
I am raising my teen-age children by myself. Very often we are experiencing financial difficulties and therefore without your help it would be impossible for us to solve the many financial problems about going to Israel.

Thank you so very much!
Sincerely,

My mother and I decided to go to Israel because of all the persecution and abuse we have received all of our lives here in Ukraine. Everywhere we walk we are called “Jids,” a very nasty word for Jewish people. We just had to accept it and keep walking with tears in our eyes.
My daughter Tatyana is already living in Israel and she keeps telling us that she feels like a real person there.  My mother and I want to go to our own land and live like real people as free Jews in the land of the Jews.
We are very thankful to you, (Christians), and to Ezra International for the help you have provided us. We really needed it and because of your help we are able to go to the Motherland of Israel.  We are very thankful that you are helping Jewish people. Your good actions won’t pass by without being noticed.  GOD SEES EVERYTHING!!
We thank you again and we wish you from our hearts happiness, good health and may God help you in all you do!  Lekhaim!
